Answer to this Question

Answer provided 11/29/2005 10:37:08 AM

Q. How do I create a expandable banner. I believe we need to create two swfs for that - one for before expansion and the other for after expansion.
But I am not sure about the communication between the two swfs. If i want it to expand on rollover, where is that rollover functionality taken care of. Please let me know how to continue from here.

A. In order to create an expandable ad that can be served universally, you need to use a technology such as PointRoll.com. You will then create a banner, either GIF or SWF, and a separate file for each panel you want to expand on rollover. The PointRoll technology will take care of the rest.
