A banner network is a group of websites that have joined together to create a large audience to serve banner ads to. Advertising to this diverse audience is called Run of Network. When you advertise online using the Run of Network method, your ad will be displayed on any website to any audience within the network. This untargeted method is usually the least expensive way to advertise online and has the greatest reach across all demographics. Run of network is not targeted, unless the network itself is of a certain genre or demographic. You can use Run of network advertising when your product or service has broad appeal to the general public.
