Any photograph or image created by someone is inherently their property and cannot be reused without their permission. Image searching software such as Google image search has made it very easy to find images online. These images are not necessarily there for the taking, and you should always make sure images in your banner ads are free of copyright protection. One mistake can lead to costly litigation.
