Q. what kind of fonts should i choose in Banner ads? Which make them attaractive as well decent and create more attention of user?

A. Thanks for the question. While proper font selection is certainly a personal preference, there are some basic guidelines to follow. Use a font that is easy to read. Generally, for online advertising purposes, this means a clean font with some weight to it. Some popular choices amongst designers are the helvetica family, the trade gothic family, the interstate family, the univers family, and the meta plus family. Make sure you size your fonts so they look clean. This adds to the overall appearance of your ad. Certain fonts have cleaner aliasing on the edges at a specific size....so a font at 11 pixels may not look as clean as the same font at 10 pixels. Finally, do not use heavy dropshadows, as they muddy up the text. Use either light dropshadows or duplicate the font layer, darken the bottom text and offset by a pixel or two in each direction. Q. How do I create a expandable banner. I believe we need to create two swfs for that - one for before expansion and the other for after expansion.
But I am not sure about the communication between the two swfs. If i want it to expand on rollover, where is that rollover functionality taken care of. Please let me know how to continue from here.
