Q. I am wondering what the average CPM is and if there is anywhere that I can go, to see many company lists that have Banners and their pricing.
thanks

A. CPMs will vary greatly based on the site or network you are going to run your banner ad on. Common CPMs for untargeted, Run of Network (RON) type advertising are $1-3. Targeted advertising, which generally will produce higher click through rates (CTR), can range from $5-$50 depending on the site. CPM rates are often negotiable, and usually will depend on the total dollar amount of your purchase.

One way we recommend looking at CPMs is to estimate your click through rate, then come up with a CPM you are willing to pay based on what a customer click to your website is worth. If you are willing to pay $1 per click, and you expect a .3% CTR, then you want to shop around for advertising no more expensive than $3 CPM. If your banner ads perform above your targeted CTR, you will be ahead of the game.

Q. How do I create a expandable banner. I believe we need to create two swfs for that - one for before expansion and the other for after expansion.
But I am not sure about the communication between the two swfs. If i want it to expand on rollover, where is that rollover functionality taken care of. Please let me know how to continue from here.
